Traditional reference checks are a waste of time.

 

Calling a list of names provided by the candidate himself will not safeguard from disappointment and/or failure.  


We rather seek advice in our professional network. From people we personally know, who are aware of our company’s DNA, and who know the quality we require in delivered work and the types of personalities that we see fit in our clients’ teams.  

 

Of course, this is only one part of our efforts to ensure the quality of the candidates presented. 

 

And it also means we sometimes have to let applicants go who looked great on paper.

 

But the outcome is remarkably valuable. 

 

After all, quality and long-term relationships go hand in hand.
